Astroschool Fall 2018 Wrap Up!
Our AstroSchool fall 2018 cohort has finished! Here’s what participating educators thought about their experience learning about new classroom technology.
Presented by Because Learning and the Association of Space Explorers (ASE), AstroSchool trains teachers to effectively bring STEM technology into their curriculums.
For one month, our participating educators received weekly lessons from Because Learning’s Director of Learning Lindsey Henderson designed to:
- Improve STEM teaching skills
- Interact with other educators
- Get exposed to new classroom technologies
Here’s what participating educators had to say!
Week 1 Project – 2 middle school girls and 1 middle school boy coding @Arduino to help me with my project LOL @becauselearning @ASE_Astronauts #AstroSchool. We thought we broke the display for a hot second – it was literally just hot from all the coding. All good. pic.twitter.com/1ZFO41Awhy

So #AstroSchool wants solar ovens… Bobcats make solar ovens!!! So proud when I saw a mom post this about her son prepping to test our ovens! Had to do the build at home (limited class time). Love that they're getting into it! @becauselearning pic.twitter.com/jy8yTdgCWw
